# Vetting

At StarLaunch, we understand that backing any early-stage project comes with some degree of risk. To minimize that risk, we are selective with the projects we launch. We ensure that any project we launch has a utility that brings value to the community, and we require every project to undergo a 3rd party code audit. We also consider variables such as tokenomics, team background, current stage of development and overall roadmap viability.
